It’s very simple.

There are several ways of determining true friendships, but here’s one simple tip that could quickly reveal a person as a true friend or a person who is spiritually shallow or a potential fraud.

Ok, so let’s start here: At any point in your relationship, do not think you can make a relationship stronger by hiding disagreements in conversations with your friend.

Let’s face it, most of us desire healthy lasting friendships. Sad thing is, we often compromise our convictions in the process. We sometimes become fearful of “losing” a friend or potential mate if we are too outspoken about the beliefs we hold dear.

This is a HUGE mistake‼️‼️‼️

Yes, we must purpose to speak wisely. Sometimes indiscriminately blurting out our convictions isn’t always wise. That’s why we must learn to politely and respectfully express any disagreement at the proper time. But DON’T be so obsessed with finding the “proper time” that you avoid having a discussion.!!

Ok, so we’re ready to 👉politely👈 discuss a disagreement with our “friend” but everything quickly goes bad and your “friend” throws a fit, calls you names and blocks you. NOW what⁉️

First of all, know this: you did NOT lose a genuine friend, you lost a pretend friend. DO NOT feel bad or blame yourself. You tried to have a polite conversation but your pretend friend exposed his or her shallowness and ran away.

But please note: the disgruntled pretend friend may realize his/her mistakes and seek to make amends. Its biblical for you to humbly forgive and you must forgive. Remember. we’ve all played the part of a pretend friend at a time in our lives and we sought Gods forgiveness for it.

But what about the person of whom we thought was a real friend or a potential mate but they never come back to the friendship?

Well. Just be happy you didn’t marry them‼️‼️‼️

No real and genuine true friend behaves like a permanently bitter butt hurt egomaniac who consistently resists correction and friendship‼️‼️
