I think you have to have a balance, I’ve seen things on profiles that should really be shared once you’ve got to know each other…:-)

No I haven’t had that happen to me, also I wouldn’t talk to someone online for a year. If we are not talking about meeting within a few weeks I will bid him farewell…:-)

I live in the Uk and have stated in my profile “Uk only” even with that said I continuously get messages from around the globe. What’s the point how would that work with regards to meeting up for a quick coffee for example…:-)

For me less is more when it comes to profiles. I just need enough information to know whether I’d like to have a conversation. There has to be a balance I don’t want no information but I also don’t want to read an autobiography “just saying”…:-)

Meeting people online should be viewed as one option it’s not the only way to meet people or the best nothing beats getting out there and socialising IRL…:-)
